yesterday was the rookie competition 2009
PART 2





the weather was alright at the start.
manage to have the quarter finals at the sembawang court.

BUT


aft that, the sky turned to this

all ran to mac/mos burger for shelter.
we didn't want PART 3 to happen
so voted to continue the comp in a nearby car park.
lol.
ground like kanasai.
make my wheels all black also.

nvm, so the semi finals were carried out
i must admit i totally screwed it.but
managed to scrape through to the finals

Champion ZAC
won with his eagle slide which he dug out from dunno where one day before the comp.LOL

2nd! me! :D

a very close fight there.if he cleared his combo i would have lost.

4th.Kae
if he cleared his combo too, i would have been 4th.

but of course having made it to the finals, being able to get this far.
we are all champions! no matter what position we get.
we tried our best.that is what counts the most!

i have one word to say to you
RESPECT!

he was having a fever on the competition day.
YET
he stayed on, and competed, gave it his best!
so ya.respect!:D

lastly i would like to give special thanks to steven,zac,lynn,zhu,qq and not forgetting kat who msged from malaysia for all their support throughout the competition. Of course the rest of the ICians,micro skaters and zenearth people are not forgotten!:D

rookie comp is just a stepping stone
the real challenge will be coming soon.
the selection for the chance to compete in the World Slalom Championship!(WSC)
which will be held in SHANGHAI!

selection will be in may.
gotta train hard.
