Life in Singapore poly
Oh my 3 years has come and gone
I can’t believe we’d actually won
The long battle against poly exams
And the countless feelings of being stressed
We entered in 2007 all fresh and young
Curious to see what poly life was.
It didn’t turn out to be as relaxing as expected
But hey! Life is full of surprises
We made new friends and formed new cliques
Even giving certain people new nicks!
Tree and pedo were some of the nicks
But I think no one was nicknamed a pig
First semester gave us an insight to poly life
It made us fear what was to come
Were our results going to take a dive?
Or would it be a breeze to some?
We never knew what to expect
When the first set of results came
Some were laid down with regret
While others continued with their games
From roof top running to copying in written tests
From discussing the online tests to playing Dota in the school library
From studying together and the countless sushi outings we had together
From the horrible pizza hut class tutor-student bonding session
to the wonderful bonding session with dbt23 and our class tutor
That’s one heck of a journey
One we will never forget
Now the guys have to prepare for army
The girls to prepare for uni
Graduation now awaits us
Lets go get our certs!
However this isn’t over
It doesn’t end here
It is merely the beginning to something new
It’ll not be long before we join the “looking-for-job” queue
All the best to all my friends
And all the army-awaiting men
